Peer Review Process

Peer Review Process

The Journal of Holistic and Scientific Studies follows a rigorous and transparent peer-review process to ensure the quality, originality, and scientific integrity of all published articles.

  1. Initial Editorial Screening
All submitted manuscripts are first reviewed by the editorial office to check for the completeness, relevance to the journal’s scope area, adherence to author guidelines, and plagiarism. Manuscripts that do not meet these basic requirements may be rejected at this stage.

  2. Peer Review
Manuscripts that pass the initial screening are sent to two or more independent expert reviewers in the relevant field. The journal follows a double-blind peer review process, where the identities of both authors and reviewers are kept confidential.

  3. Review Evaluation
Reviewers assess manuscripts based on originality, methodology, clarity, ethical compliance, significance of findings, and contribution to the field. They provide constructive comments and recommendations to improve the quality of the manuscript.

  4. Editorial Decision
Based on the reviewers’ reports, the editor makes one of the following decisions: accept, minor revision, major revision, or reject. Authors are informed of the decision along with reviewers’ comments.

  5. Revision and Resubmission
Authors must address all reviewer comments and submit a revised manuscript within the specified time. Revised submissions may be sent for further review if required.

  6. Final Decision and Publication
Once the manuscript is accepted, it undergoes final editing and formatting before publication. Accepted articles are published online with open access.
